Event logo: Acacia Fraternity Conclave 2014

Acacia Fraternity International

  • This logo was inspired by the host city, Nashville, Tennessee - The Music City.
  • The event theme which I created, Finding Our Rhythm, speaks to the state of the organization at the time of the event.
  • The Executive Director is a bass guitar player, lending further inspiration to the design.
  • The three triangles found on the headstock are a symbol of the organization.

Company logo: Crowdspoke

Crowdspoke, Inc.

  • Crowdspoke was a destination news site. The font is news-like: Clear, legible and no-frills.
  • The Morse code underneath the company name speaks to the real-time nature of the application and spells, "Real time news."
  • The icon is also Morse code and spells, "CS."

Acacia Fraternity International

  • This logo was inspired by the host city of New Orleans, with the focal point of the image on the city's location in Louisiana.
  • The logo incorporates symbols from the organization, including the carpenter's square and blue ribbon.
  • The event theme which I created, Recommit, Renew, Reinvent!, speaks to the focus of the organization for the subsequent two years. It also speaks to the state of the city of New Orleans recovering from Hurricane Katrina at the time of the event.

  • The name and logo for this app are inspired by the product itself - a mobile coupon application.
  • The logo represents a fun consumer brand.
  • The bee character is pollinating the smartphone with deals!
  • The app icon abbreviates the logo in a recognizable way that still clearly speaks to the function of the app.

  • The visual theme reflects the organization's brand throughout.
  • Designing for efficiency and visual aesthetic of both long and short-form content present a fun challenge every issue.
